BSE Opens Higher - Nov 8, 2004

MUMBAI, Nov 8 Asia Pulse - Buoyed by reports about another American Depository Receipts (ADR) issue by IT bellwether Infosys Tech, the market opened on stronger ground and surged further during morning trading on fairly good buying support from operators at the Bombay Stock Exchange.

The benchmark 30-share index opened stronger at 5912.52, as against last Friday's close of 5891.36 and later moved up to a high of 5955.94 before being quoted at 5935.00 at 10.30 am, up 43.64 points.
