BEIJING (Dow Jones)--Eastern Anhui province-based Chery Automobile Co. Ltd. will finalize an automobile assembly agreement with Malaysia's Alado Corp. within two weeks, the China Business Weekly reports.

The report cites Chery assistant sales director Meng Tao, without elaborating.

Malaysia's Oriental Holdings Bhd. (4006.Ku) said last month its Oriental Assemblers Sdn. Bhd. unit will enter into an agreement with unlisted investment holding firm Alado for the Assembly of Chery vehicles.
