DJ Malaysia's Road Builder Gets MYR183.8M Govt Road Contract

KUALA LUMPUR (Dow Jones)--Road Builder (Malaysia) Holdings Bhd. (5541.KU) Tuesday said it has been given a MYR183.8 million government contract to widen and improve a road in eastern Malaysia.

The work involves the widening of 24.5 kilometers of road and the construction of interchanges and bridges, Road Builder said in a statement to the stock exchange.

Work will begin in January 2005 and completion is expected in July 2007, Road Builder said.
